Learn about all the 3PL EDI transactions available in BC and how they can be used to improve the timeliness and accuracy for both the shipment of sales orders as well as receipt of inventory from manufacturers. The user should leave this course with an understanding of how to utilize the many, many 3PL transactions to fully automate their relationship with external warehouses that ship goods to retailers and direct to consumers. Who Should Attend Anyone can attend but this course is tailored towards those that already have some understanding of the basics of EDI, including terminology and core transactional usage and functionality, as well as familiarity with the Blue Cherry application. In addition, users should have some basic familiarity with general warehouse roles and/or dealings with 3rd party warehouses. Learn about all the production EDI transactions available in BC and how they can be used to improve the timeliness and accuracy of production orders and automate the inbound inventory receiving process. Examine user defined triggers that drive when (and if) production orders should be retransmitted and common troubleshooting techniques. The user should leave this course with an understanding of how to improve their production business by leveraging new transactions and expanding their skills. Learn about all the retail EDI transactions available in BC and how they can be used to maintain and expand relationships with your customers using Blue Cherry’s BCEDI Retail (Core) module. Examine troubleshooting techniques used by BC technical support and some of the common pitfalls users fall into while running their EDI business that lead to charge backs. The user should leave this course with an understanding of how to improve their EDI operations by leveraging new transactions and expanding their skills. Who Should Attend Anyone can attend but this course is tailored towards those that already have some understanding of the basics of EDI, including terminology and core transactional usage and functionality, as well as familiarity with the Blue Cherry application.
